If I could have a meet up for dinner with three people, I would choose Dwight Schrute, Michael Scott, and Jessie. Michael and Dwight are characters from a show called, The Office. My friend, Jessie and I have figured out that we are like these characters. I have no idea why. It could be that they're both weird and funny but we somehow managed to be Michael and Dwight. The Office has been our favorite show to talk about since we were in 5th grade. We have used numerous inside jokes from this show. We have realized that we are like Michael and Dwight but not really. We aren't particularly as odd. Well, maybe but they have a special bond. Sort of like partners in crime but Dwight annoys Michael and gets him confused. Jessie and I still love these two and it would be an honor to go to Chili's and announce the Dundie Awards with them. Or eat a delicious meal made of beets made by Dwight himself. |

Graduation Speech
I'd like to welcome everyone to this special occasion. The four years I have spent in Golf Middle School felt like a switch of a light and here we are now, ready to graduate. I'm starting off by saying, Follow your passion. It will lead to your purpose. In this class, I have noticed numerous amount of peers possessing all sorts of personalities and talents. With this, I see us persevering into different types of futures that we will individually hold. I see doctors, professional athletes, artists, engineers, musicians, and so forth. Many of us aren't even sure of what we are going to do. I would like to say that it is perfectly normal. Life is unexpected, and you shouldn't be worried about planning so much for upcoming years. There is always time. Although I have one suggestion, you should do what you enjoy most but balance that out with hard work and determination. Life does not come with pause or replay buttons. Yet, there are many beginnings for us to pursue. A special thank you goes out for the parents and teachers for you unconditional love and support as we continue our journey. As for my classmates and fellow peers, I wish you the best of luck embarking at this high school. |

Letter to 5th Grade Me
Dear Aira,
You are going to this whole new school. It looks different doesn't it? You'll be walking around by yourself instead of a line with all you friends, you'll be learning new math problems, going on fun field trips, and you'll be meeting more people as the years go by. Enjoy being one of the tallest girls in your grade and teasing your short friends because it won't last. You should also enjoy your 5th grade year because it's a favorite of ours. My advice to you is you should still be doing your homework and be happy. You're really little and over the years you will learn new things. Not only in school, but about yourself and people. You should always keep your head high and maybe friends aren't always going to be with you but just be yourself and you'll find the right people. Have fun in 5th grade, you'll do wonderful.
Sincerely, yours truly

Ending Middle School
8th grade flew by so fast it felt like it happened in five minutes and we're about to graduate. I feel like it went by fast for me because it's one of the years I had most fun in. I enjoyed my classes and spending time with my friends. Just sitting at the lunch table to talk and laugh would always make my day.
By the end of 8th grade you start to notice who your friends are and sometimes you'll stick with them and sometimes you won't. Although it's only the end of a small part of my life and there will be huge opportunities to meet amazing people. High school is really big and comparing to middle school we're like a secure pond and high school is this ginormous lake. I'll miss so much from middle school but, I'm excited to have a class dedicated to art in high school. Art is a hobby of mine and I'd love to do a lot of it next year.
During summer break I want to travel. I haven't visited Japan in a while so my dad and I are looking forward to visit there. I'm excited to see one of my cousins I haven't seen in a very long time come from Canada to visit us. Mostly my summer will consist of hanging out with friends, having family come over, and getting very tan from swimming in my pool so much. I feel like it will be the same as last year.
When there's an end in something, you can start out with a new beginning. I want to see what high school is like. I hope it will be a great experience.

It's Complicated
I am excited about moving onto high school, but at the same time I'm not. There are many opportunities for me, such as sports and art. I also can meet new people but sometimes I want to hold myself back.
I'm not so happy about not being able to see the peers I grew up with so often. 8th grade is a year I enjoyed.
Friends, work, and myself have changed comparing to other years. I still have some of the friends that have stuck by me since I walked into Golf, but I met some new great people along the way. I have pushed myself harder to pick myself up from last year.
In high school I will mature and think differently but I'm still going to miss memories that have happened in Golf. The year is rushing by so fast and sometimes I wish I could go back. Although I'll miss it here, I want to see what the future is holding for me.

Special Tribute
Of course this special tribute goes out to the most special people in my life, my parents. They're the first people that came to mind. I'm going to start off by saying that they are amazing. Many parents are wonderful, but I will always feel incredibly blessed and happy to have mine. I don't always tell them how much they mean to me but they're in my heart at all times. To me, my dad is someone who can always make me smile or laugh really hard. He makes up random jokes all the time and it somehow makes me laugh so much. No matter how goofy he can be, my dad is very caring, understanding, and intelligent. He's always there for me whenever I want to talk about anything. I'm always comfortable talking to him. He always knows what to say to me and teaches me new things that I can use in life. He's really a great dad. Every time I watch him take care of my brothers it makes me miss my memories I had with him when I was little, like learning how to swim. I love spending time with my dad. We would be watching movies late at night on the couch laughing or getting into scenes which mean so much to me. Then we have my lovely mama. I would love to say that she's an amazing cook. I'd choose my mom's food over any other 5 star restaurant. She also very hardworking. I'm thankful she's here to help my brothers and me. She knows me very well, truly I don't know how she can read my mind half of the time. My mom gives her all to me and my family. I really couldn't ask for more from my mom. I'd gladly take care of her like she does to us and love her 100 times more. I find my mother very sweet from the way she looks out for others and by showing her beautiful smile. I'm grateful to have a smart, caring, and content mother. Overall I love and appreciate my parents so much. So thank you mom and dad for supporting me and my brothers. Don't mind me being a crazy and moody teenager you have every right getting frustrated with me at times. Although in the end, I'll go out of my way for you two to receive the love and respect that you guys 100% deserve.
